Boiling point and bubble pressure in binaries with propane were measured for five compounds, 1-pentyne, cyclopentene, 1-hexyne, 2-hexyne, 1,5-cyclooctadiene, new sulfur-free odorants liquefied petroleum gas. The boiling was an ebulliometer under atmospheric pressure. experimental points 313.51, 313.76, 344.53, 357.59 424.02 K respectively. pressures a static apparatus at 303.15 K. also by synthetic propane–1-hexyne. used estimation of critical temperature, acentric factor Lydersen’s group contribution method to evaluate the two constants Peng-Robinson equation state. could correlate mole fraction absolute relative deviation less than 2.556 %. data will be useful development fuel cells reformers

A simple Pd/SiO2 catalyst which was modified with the ionic liquid [BMPL][DCA] gave an excellent yield of 88% towards cis-2-hexene in the stereoselective hydrogenation of 2-hexyne. The catalyst outperforms, even at full conversion, the commonly used lead-poisoned, toxic Lindlar catalyst and supported colloidal-based Pd as well.
